How voluminous the today’s data?

Every day millions of people take photos, make videos and send texts. Across the globe businesses collect data on consumer preferences, web clickstream data, purchases and trends. Governments regularly collecting all sorts of data from various data sources to incident reports in various departments. This deluge of data is growing very fast. The total amount of data in the world was 4.4 zettabytes in 2013. That expected to be raised to 44 zettabytes by 2020. One zettabyte of data is equivalent to 44 trillion GB. This data will be rapidly growing daily production of data. But the question to answer is how much data is produced every day?

Can you ever imagine how much data is created on daily basis? Hard to say isn’t it?

Every day 2.5 Quintillion bytes of data are created according to the by Ben Walker Vouchercloud, around 2.5 quintillion Bytes of data is creating every day which would fill 10 million of Blu-ray discs. These figures are suggesting by an info graph of Voucher Cloud suggest that in 1992 around 100GB of data was generated on the daily basis.

Thus, going as per the available figures, Ben suggests that data generation by 2018 will be 50,000 GB per second.
